On Sunday the 25th of February, our iHelp (Social Justice) students participated in mass at St John 23rd in Stanhope Gardens.
We had students involved during the mass in many different ways: welcoming the parishioners, reading prayers of the faithful, offertory, taking up the collections and dancing a liturgical movement to our School Song “This Holy Cross”.
We had so much fun sharing our gifts with the parish. After the mass, we held a cake stall outside the church. We all had fun selling the cakes we had made, and using our mathematical skills to work out the change for each sale. We raised an amazing $796.05.
The money raised has been donated to the Pastoral Care Group at St John 23rd Parish. This group spends time with the elderly people within our community, the money will go towards taking these people out and about, ensuring that they're having a wonderful time!
Thank you to our wonderful parents who helped us make delicious cakes and slices for this event and for helping us to sell on the day!
We are looking forward to our next Social Justice initiative so that we can continue a difference to others in our community!

Today, our Kindy to Year 3 students had a special morning exploring the parables of Jesus brought to life through the power of song! πΎβ¨ A massive thank you to Van, who not only wrote these wonderful songs but also shared his incredible talent by performing them for our students today. It was a beautiful, joyful way for our younger students to connect with these timeless stories. Ask your children on the ride home which parable song was their favourite! ππ¬ A huge thank you to Deacon Adrian, who organised this for us!

We're proud to celebrate the amazing achievements of our students both at school and outside of school! π ππ Over the holiday break, a couple of our students experienced success in their chosen sports and we love seeing them succeed both on and off the field. Congratulations to Erin from Year 5 who represented New South Wales in Gymnastics and with her team was crowned National Champions at the 2026 Australian Gymnastics Championships! π π And congratulations to Milana from Year 6 as her representative netball team was crowned State Champions for 2026! π π We're so proud of all of our sporting stars and can't wait to see what they achieve next!
